I’ve been involved with The Daily Free Press, Boston University’s independent student newspaper, and Back Bay Publishing Company, the nonprofit that oversees the FreeP’s business operations, throughout all four years of college, serving in both editorial and organizational leadership roles.

Editorial Leadership

• Mentored 20 editors across 12 sections as Managing Co-Editor
• Edited 630 stories in one semester, handling 8–10 stories nightly
• Partnered with the editor-in-chief to establish newsroom standards
• Navigate organizational challenges, including a major website crash

Organizational Leadership

• Help develop systems, policies and initiatives that strengthen the newsroom
• Make final decisions on major coverage and editorial matters
