I grew up in Glen Ellyn, Illinois and spent the majority of my childhood and teenage years reading and writing. I love books, and they kindled my love for journalism, showing me the power of storytelling and the impact of well-crafted narratives. Through journalism, I’ve found a way to combine my passions: reading, writing and talking to people.
My work can be found in several outlets including The Dallas Morning News, The Dorchester Reporter, Boston.com, The Marblehead Current, The Daily Free Press, the Student Press Law Center, and the Stroll Glen Ellyn.
I was also on a panel at the Investigative Reporters and Editors' NICAR26 conference in March 2026.
